Production Volume

chipIgnite provides an easy path from prototyping to low, medium and high volume production. For low and medium volume production, this solution allows customers to share masks and fabrication costs with others, making it more affordable. For high volume production, this solution uses a dedicated mask set.

While most customers will have already prototyped and tested their devices through our chipIgnite program, accelerated prototyping-to-production paths are also available.

Evaluation, Low Volume and Medium Volume

For production volumes of 1,000, 10,000, and 100,000 parts, production is shared, aggregating multiple customers to optimize manufacturing costs and streamline processes. Multiple packaging options are available, including 64L QFN, 8, 16, 32, 64L QFN/SOIC, and Bare Die, with various pin counts depending on I/O requirements.

Optional Services

  • Production Test
    We provide fully tested parts to customers, ensuring high-quality and reliable components.

  • Qualification
    Digital-based designs using Caravel, which employs standard cells, can take advantage of the Efabless qualification process. This approach will expedite design-specific qualification and shorten your time-to-market. Designs based on OpenFrame or those using analog or custom devices will need extended qualification testing to ensure compatibility with Consumer or IoT applications.
